Dear Friends of THE TWISTED CONE…

It is with great regret that we inform you that The Twisted Cone & Café will be closed permanently. The county is taking a more aggressive approach to the enforcement of requirements regarding well and septic systems. Unfortunately due to the age and condition of the building and property the cost for replacement or repair is much greater than we, or the landlord, are prepared to pay. We also realized in late December that with cold weather and fading daylight many of our customers faded away as well, even though we offered an inviting dining area indoors.

So after a very long, hard, winter of trying to keep things going and not being in a position to meet the county requirements we have made the tough decision of closing down and leaving the building by the end of April.

We appreciate every one of you who supported The Twisted Cone during the past two and a half years. We will miss seeing you! We thank all of our employees who worked with us and helped make it a fun place to come to! Please note that we are NOT CLOSING our other Harbro businesses! Window Film Solutions and Pro-Tech Safe & Lock will simply be mobile services as they were years ago. We will continue to do window screen repair & replacement.

Plans for the Country Junction Gift Shop are to be determined. We also plan to continue the “Balloons for all Occasions” business since that has really picked up for us. Paul & Chrissie will be able to operate from their home and
do deliveries etc…
